Monroe will face a challenging schedule this year. Among the highlights in a very competitive Region 15 slate, the Express will host nationally ranked No. 4 Nassau Community College on October 11 at Flowers Park with a 1 p.m. start time. The Lions won the region last year and advanced all the way to the semifinal round of the NJCAA National Tournament. Monroe will close out the regular season against nationally ranked No. 8 Suffolk County Community College on Thursday, October 16, at Flowers Park (4 p.m.). It will be a rematch of last year's Region 15 Quarterfinal matchup that officially ended in a 0-0 draw (The Sharks advanced via penalty kicks).
The non-region portion of the schedule will be an important test for the Blue and Gold. That includes a match versus nationally ranked No. 10 Northern Essex Community College, at Whittier Tech Soccer Field, on Saturday, September 6, at 3:30 p.m. Another challenging contest will be against NJCAA Division II nationally ranked No. 7 Mercer County Community College on Thursday, September 11, at Mercer Soccer Field (4 p.m.).
