Andres Lora

    Assistant Coach - Men's Soccer
Andres Lora joined the Monroe University - Bronx men's soccer program as an assistant coach in September of 2023.

During Lora's first season with Monroe - Bronx in 2023 as an assistant coach, the Express qualified for the Region 15 Postseason and went 6-6-1 overall, including 6-5-1 against regional opponents during the regular season. He coached Lorenz Utz who earned a spot on the All-Region 15 second team and Vitor de Oliveira who earned NJCAA Division III National Goalkeeper of the Week honors.

In 2024, Lora helped the Express earn a 9-4-3 record, a No. 6 national ranking, and the third seed in the Region 15 Tournament with an 8-2-2 record against regional opponents. He coached Chrismonor Eugene who was named the NJCAA Division III Offensive Player of the Week and was selected to the All-Region 15 first team. Xcaret Gonzalez and Jonathan Lima landed on the All-Region first team and second team, respectively. 

No stranger to Monroe - Bronx, Lora was a student-athlete for the Express men's soccer team from 2019 until 2021. Lora scored nine goals and added 14 assists, for a total of 32 points, in 32 matches played in his illustrious career. He helped lead the Express men's soccer program to its first ever Region 15 Championship and appearance in the NJCAA Division III Tournament in the spring of 2021. Lora tallied an assist during the Region 15 Championship match and found the back of the net during the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Tournament. He earned a spot on the All-Region 15 Academic team during his sophomore season in the 2020-21 academic year. 

Lora has earned grassroots online coaching licenses in both four vs. four and seven vs. seven. He also earned his National Council on Strength and Fitness Certification.

A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lora earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Monroe University - Bronx in June of 2022.
