Pittsburg, K.S., March 4, 2022 - The Monroe Express men's track and field team opened competition in the program's first-ever appearance in the 2022 NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Sophomore Jeremiah Herbert (Queens Village, N.Y.) kicked off the action in Men's 600 Meters, finishing 27th with a time of 1:25.70.
Freshman Wayne Stephenson (Falmouth, Jamaica) followed in the Men's 800 Meters clocking in with a time of 2:01.93.
Classmate Romar Scott (Whithorn, Jamaica) finished up the Day 1 action lacing it up in the Men's 1000 Meters, crossing the finish line with a time of 2:37.58.
