BRONX – The Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM) announced the recipients for its first-ever Academic Honor Roll this past Friday, and 15 Monroe Express student-athletes made the list. The full announcement by EAST-COMM can be seen here.

To be eligible to earn a spot on the EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in terms of academic and athletic eligibility, plus earn a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher. 

Below is a list of Express student-athletes who landed on the 2024-25 EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll, sorted by sport and season.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe University marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
