BRONX – The Monroe College – Bronx men's volleyball team will begin its inaugural season on Thursday in the Monroe Mustangs Invitational on the New Rochelle campus. The program's first ever match will be against the defending NJCAA National Champion Finger Lakes Community College, at the Monroe Athletic Center, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Monroe - Bronx faculty, staff, and students can travel to New Rochelle and cheer on the team at the MAC by taking the shuttle bus which will leave King Hall at 2:45 p.m. Fans that take the shuttle bus to New Rochelle will be able to take a shuttle van back to the Bronx campus. 
 
The Monroe Mustangs Invitational will continue Friday with a pair of matches for the Express. First, they will take on College of DuPage at 11:00 a.m. and then will battle Passaic County Community College at 7:00 p.m. Monroe – Bronx will conclude its season-opening weekend on Saturday against Union County College at 1:30 p.m.

The Express have nine rookies who will compete for the first-year program. Sean Culwill will serve as head coach of the team and will be assisted by Diego Lojano and Johnnedry Ceballos. The first-ever Express men's volleyball roster can be seen in its entirety by clicking here.
