Johnnedry Ceballos

Johnnedry Ceballos was named assistant coach of the Monroe College - Bronx men's volleyball team in November of 2023. 

No stranger to the Express, Ceballos served as the team manager of the Monroe - Bronx women's volleyball team during the 2019 season. He assisted the coaching staff with instructing the players the rules and techniques of the sport. Ceballos also organized and directed individual and small group practice activities. That year, the Express went 19-4 and began to receive votes for the national rankings. Monroe also won the opening round of the Region 15 Championships and earned a berth in the semifinal round.

Prior to Monroe - Bronx, Ceballos was the student athletic manager for the John F. Kennedy High School athletics department from September of 2017 until November of 2018. He handled the equipment and laundry, plus he also participated in the on-court and on-field activities during practice. Ceballos performed administrative duties such as attending meetings involving coaching activities and analyzing film. He also handled the statistics during practices and athletic contests. 

Currently residing in Yonkers, N.Y., Ceballos earned his associate degree in criminal justice from Monroe College - Bronx in June of 2021. He then received his bachelor's degree in political science from John Jay College in May of 2023.
