BRONX, N.Y., May 18, 2020 – As the Monroe College Express Department of Athletics heads into the fourth year of the program's history, the Express are proud to unveil a new set of athletic marks that go hand-in-hand with the Express' evolving identity. The Monroe College Express Department of Athletics worked hand-in-hand with VIP Branding to design the updated set of Express logos.
Â
"As we enter year four of the Monroe Express, and experience continuous growth, we wanted to expand our identity further," said Director of Athletics
Allaire Primiano. "We believe these adjustments and additional marks represent our community, in addition to the energy and spirit the Monroe Express has on Monroe College's Bronx campus."

Updated Train Logo

While the identity of the Monroe Express is evolving, the original values of the Express remain true. The train logo has been simplified with the elimination of the tracks and tail, while modifying the color scheme to make it pop.
Â
Skyline M Logo

The biggest addition to the Monroe Express brand is the Skyline M logo as an alternative logo option. This new logo reflects the heart of the Monroe Express, which lies within its roots in the Bronx and New York City. The Department of Athletics hopes that many of the Monroe College students will find a sense of pride and identity with the new Skyline M logo.
Â
Motion M Logo

In addition to the Skyline M logo, the Express also introduce the Motion M logo as another initial mark for the Monroe Express. The Motion M maintains the original theme of the Monroe Express, giving Monroe a simple initial-mark option that adds some of the flare of the Express. This motion-text style is also reflected in the new Monroe Express wordmarks, as seen below.
