Monroe Express Softball Opens Second Season this Saturday on the Road

BRONX, N.Y., April 2, 2021 – The Monroe College Express softball team's second season was supposed to take place during the spring of 2020, but with opening day scheduled for March 13, the Express season was over before it could even get started. The Express get a fresh start in 2021, kicking off what will now be the program's second-ever season this Saturday, April 3, with a road doubleheader at Suffolk County Community College.

Due to Region 15, Monroe College and New York State COVID-19 restrictions, spectators will not be permitted to attend Monroe College home athletic events for the 2021 spring season. Despite staffing limitations, the Monroe College Department of Athletics hopes to provide live stats and video for as many home contests as possible in 2021.
