NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., April 19, 2019 – Due to inclement weather causing unplayable field conditions, Saturday's Monroe Express softball doubleheader against Nassau Community College Flowers Park has been postponed. No makeup date has been announced at this time.
 
Following their doubleheader at Sussex County on Friday, April 19, the Express sit at 3-13 (2-4 Region XV) on the year.
 
The Express will be back in action on Tuesday, April 23 when they travel to Selden, N.Y. to take on Suffolk County Community College in a doubleheader beginning at 3:30 p.m.
 
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 30 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus as of the fall of 2017, has 11 varsity and junior varsity teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
