Monroe University Bronx

2026-27: First season playing collegiate basketball for the Express.

Who is Kanaz?
Reason for Choosing Monroe: I chose Monroe because I wanted to attend a college where I could continue playing basketball while getting a good education. I believe Monroe will help me improve my skills, grow as a student-athlete, and prepare for my future career. I also want to challenge myself, meet new people, and take advantage of the opportunities the school offers. My goal is to work hard, make my family proud, and use my time at Monroe to become a better player and person.
Career Goals After Graduation: After graduation, my career goal is to become a professional basketball player and continue developing my skills to reach the highest level possible. I want to work hard, stay disciplined, and take advantage of every opportunity to improve my game. If I cannot play basketball professionally, I would like to pursue a career in sports management or sports agency, where I can help other athletes achieve their dreams. My ultimate goal is to be successful, make my family proud, and use my talents to build a better future for myself.
