Who is Keilyn?
Reason for Choosing Monroe: I chose Monroe because I felt it would be a good place for me to grow academically and personally. I’m currently studying Human Services, which connects to my goal of becoming a social worker and helping people in my community. I also wanted to be part of a college where I could continue my education while playing Volleyball. 
Career Goals After Graduation: After graduation, my goal is to continue my education and pursue a career in social work. I want to help people through difficult situations, support my community, and make a positive difference in others’ lives.
Dream Job: My dream job is to become a social worker. After graduation, I want to use my Human Services education to help people, support families, and make a positive difference in my community.
High School Sports Played: I played high school softball for all four years. I also played volleyball for two years after my school added the sport during my junior year.
Previous Sports Accomplishments: Hustle and Heart Award (Softball 2024), MVP/Hustle and Heart Awards
(Volleyball/Softball 2025), Captain LPA Legend Award
(Softball/Volleyball 2024-2026), and the Hall of Fame Award (2026).
Academic Honors: Honor Roll (Every Marking Period), Triple "C" Award, Youth Leadership Award, SWAG Award ("S" Scholarly Thinking, "W" Working purposefully, "A" Awareness of our Diverse community, "G" Growth Mindset"), and Attendance Achievement Award.
