Who is Chelsea?
Nickname: Chels
Academic Year: Freshman
Hometown: Bronx, N.Y.
Academic Major: Surgical Tech
High School: Mamaroneck
Why did you choose Monroe?: I chose Monroe because it was the perfect place to start my higher education and my volleyball career in a familiar place I already knew I had family.
Career Goals After Graduation: To become a biologist and go to a college with a bachelors that will give me the knowledge I need to start my own business.
Dream job: Actress or Business Owner
High School Sports Played: Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball
Academic Honors: High Honors Award
Unique Story: I’ve hopped from the Bronx and Manhattan most of my childhood until 10th grade. Then I went upstate and continued high school. I first got into volleyball because my best friend at the time wanted to try out but didn’t know anyone who was going and didn’t want to be alone, so I accompanied her. She didn’t end up making the team, but I did. And since then volleyball has become a safe haven for me, a place I can learn and grow without feeling any pressure besides the one I put on myself.
