BRONX – The third-seeded Monroe University – Bronx women's volleyball team will battle sixth-seeded Orange County Community College in a Region 15 Quarterfinal matchup at Monroe Athletic Complex on Thursday evening.
The winner will move on to the semifinals which will take place on the campus of Dutchess Community College on Saturday.

Monroe (18-4, 14-2 Region 15) looks to capture its fourth consecutive district title and earn its first Region 15 Championship since 2023. The Blue and Gold are currently receiving votes in the NJCAA Division III Women's Volleyball National Poll as they aim to make it to nationals for the fourth straight time.
In the regular season head-to-head matchup back on October 11, the Express defeated the Colts in straight sets.
Leading the way for Monroe – Bronx this year has been
Cherlialix Carmona who produced 265 kills and recorded 174 digs during the regular season.
Aleishka Diaz has tallied a team-high 383 digs while nailing a program all-time single-season record 79 service aces.
Julia Ramos has generated 367 assists, 132 defensive bumps, and 72 aces. Her 149 career service victories are the most in program history.
For Orange County (10-10, 8-8 Region 15), Angelina Rivera slammed 194 kills during the regular season, while adding 149 digs and 87 service aces. Isabella Messina has produced 343 assists, while Lily Noteboom has compiled 111 putdowns, 134 digs, 10 blocks, and 64 service victories.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports.
