BRONX – It will be a busy Saturday for Monroe University – Bronx as both the Express women's volleyball and men's soccer teams will be in Region 15 action.
 
For volleyball, the Express will have two regional matches on the campus of Nassau Community College in Garden City, N.Y. Monroe will take on Hostos Community College at noon and then Bronx Community College at 2:00 p.m. The Express are 4-3 overall and 1-0 in Region 15 play.
 
The nationally ranked No. 10 Monroe men's soccer team looks to remain undefeated this season (4-0 overall and in the region) as they battle Queensborough Community College, in Bayside, N.Y., beginning at noon. ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe University marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
