Seven Express Student-Athletes Selected to CSC Academic All-District College Division At-Large Team

BRONX – The Monroe University – Bronx student-athletes once again thrived in both athletics and in academics as seven Express honorees were selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District College Division At-Large team. 
 
The CSC organization made the official announcement on Tuesday afternoon. This accolade honors a student-athlete for achievements both in the field of play and in the classroom. 
 
To earn this prestigious honor, a student-athlete must be a sophomore both athletically and academically, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, played at least a full season for their team, and had to have started in at least 66 percent of the institution's games played OR competed in at least 90% of the team's contests.

The seven Express honorees who landed on the CSC Academic All-District College Division At-Large team will now advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot which will be voted on by college sports communicators throughout the country. The CSC Academic All-America College Division Women's At-Large team will be announced on Tuesday, July 7. The CSC Academic All-America College Division Men's At-Large team will be revealed on Wednesday, July 8. 

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe University marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
