BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Monroe College – Bronx men's volleyball team dropped its non-region match to Harcum College, in straight sets, at Klein Hall Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-15, 25-19, and 25-21.
Leading the way for the Express (0-16) were freshman middle blocker

Anthony Estevez who each tallied six kills and seven digs, with the former adding a pair of assists, just as many blocks, and a service ace. First-year defensive specialist
Harold Romero anchored the defense with eight digs, while rookie setter
Wiltor Cubas provided 11 assists and a pair of digs.
First-year middle blocker
Marvin Culmer paced the Express with four kills, three blocks, and a trio of digs. Freshman middle blocker
Mickey Mingo recorded six digs. Rookie outside hitter
Juan Arias tallied two service aces, a kill, and an assist. First-year middle blocker
Shain Frazier had a solid match with three kills, a trio of assists, two digs, and a block.
Monroe – Bronx will battle Kingsborough Community College, in a Region 15 match, on Wednesday evening. First serve at Kingsborough CC Gymnasium is set for 6:00 p.m.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe College marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
