BRONX - The Monroe College - Bronx men's volleyball team will battle Middlesex College in a non-region match at Middlesex College Gym on Wednesday evening. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.

The Express (0-6) are looking to win their first match in program history. The Colts (1-2) have dropped two matches in a row after winning the season opener over Passaic County Community College, in a five-set thriller on the road, back on February 12.
Leading the way for the Express this season has been freshman middle blocker
Jeremy Rivera-Aponte who has slammed home 1.79 kills per set, scored 11 total service aces, produced 1.42 digs per frame, and tallied 13 total blocks this season.
For the Colts, freshman outside hitter Justin Zapata is slamming home 3.00 kills per set and anchoring the defense with 4.50 digs per frame.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe College marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
