Glassboro, N.J., March 20, 2022 – The Monroe Express men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Oscar Moore Invitational, hosted by Rowan University, on Saturday. The Express were one of five two-year schools competing at the event against perennial NCAA Tournament contenders.
The men were on the card for three races as
Jabari Davis-Underwood (New York, New York) and
Jeremiah Herbert (Queens Village, N.Y.) both competed in the Men's 400 meter dash with
Davis-Underwood and
Herbert finishing 12th and 20th with times of 54.22 and 55.52.
Freshman
Wayne Stephenson (Falmouth, Jamaica) produced the best men's finish of the day making another top ten finish coming in 9th with a time of 2:06.23 while
Danario Douglas (Prospect District Hanover, Jamaica) and Ethaniel Elliot came in behind with times of 2:06.63 and 2:26.98.
Romar Scott (Whithorn, Jamaica) competed in the 1500 meters finishing with a time of 4:29.46.
The Express return to competition next Friday April 1 in the Ramapo College Track and Field Invitational at 3 p.m.in Ramapo, New Jersey. For more information, please visit the

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 36 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and
women's rugby, the Monroe College marching band, and the newly added esports program, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has 17 teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
