The Express came out firing in the second half with a 20-6 run to get the Shark lead down to two, 49-47 on a Cordero three-pointer from the right win. Suffolk went on an 8-2 run to get the lead back up to six, 55-49, before Monroe-Bronx roared back with a 9-2 run to take the lead for the first time 58-57 on a Barnes coast-to-coast layup off of a defensive rebound by Johnson. AJ Knight Jr's three-point put the Sharks back in front 60-58, and they would not relinquish that lead holding off the Express for a 75-70 victory.
