Brooklyn, N.Y., January 30, 2020 – The Monroe College Express women's basketball team defeated the Kingsborough Community College Waves on Thursday evening by a final score of 64-50. The Express improve to 14-8 overall and 8-3 in Region XV play.
"We needed to find a way to win and we did," said Head Coach
Jeremy Thompson. "It may not have been pretty but we did a good job of grinding it out and finding ways to attack on offense. Our ball movement was what got us the win. In the second half, the ball moved quicker and we got much better shots each possession. Hopefully we can carry this into our trip to Orange."
