POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., OCTOBER  5 - The Monroe College Express men's soccer team defeated Dutchess Community College on Saturday, 10-1, behind a high powered offensive outing.

The Express improve to 7-2-1 on the season and 6-1-1 in league play.

Emerson Guevara led the scoring for the Monroe with a season-high four goals and added an assist. He now totaling 12 goals and 28 points through 10 games this season. 

Jean Woobens Zamy scored twice in the match while adding a pair of helpers for six points.

Edwin Zuniga Lopez and Andres Lora each added a goal and assist in the win, for a three-point evening. 

O'Wayne Dalhouse and Elhadj Diallo both tallied a score while Abul Chowdhury and Edwin Peralta each dished out an assist.

Fred Guillou started the contest in goal for the Express, logging 45 minutes while Sergio Servin recorded five saves.

The Express resume play on Saturday, Oct. 12, when they travel out to Long Island, N.Y. for Region XV showdown with Suffolk Community College.
