BROOKLYN, N.Y., October 3, 2019 - On Thursday, the Monroe Express men's soccer program put forth a dominating performance, defeating Kingsborough Community College, 8-2.
With the victory, the Express improve to 6-2-1 overall and 5-1-1 in Region XV play.
The Express got out the gates fast, scoring their first goal in the second minute of the match, as rookie
Momodu Touray was credited with the net rattler.

Edwin Zuniga Lopez picked up his third hat trick of the season with three goals in the match to lead the Express.

Emerson Guevara pushed Monroe's lead to 2-0, netting his eighth goal of the season in the ninth minute, connecting on an assist from Touray.

O'Wayne Dalhouse each tallied a goal in the final stretch of the match to propel the Express to an 8-2 victory over Kingsborough.
Overall, the Express outshot Kingsborough 13-5 in the contest. Sophomore goalkeeper
Fred Guillou made the start in goal, making one save in 27 minutes of action while classmate
Sergio Servin made two saves in 67 minutes.
The Express will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 5, traveling to Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Kickoff is slated for 6:00 PM.
