NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., March 22, 2018 – Due to Wednesday' inclement weather causing unplayable field conditions, the Monroe Express baseball team's game against Suffolk County Community College on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 have been postponed. No makeup dates have been announced at this time.
 
The Express opened conference play in NJCAA Region XV against Suffolk County on Tuesday, March 20 with a 10-0 loss to the Sharks at Dick Caswell Field in New Rochelle, N.Y.
 
The Express are back in action on Tuesday, March 27 when they take on Kingsborough Community College at 4 p.m. in Brooklyn, N.Y.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 26 teams competing across nine sports. There are 18 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's rugby, and the newly added club women's rugby team, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of Monroe's Bronx campus has six teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level beginning with their inaugural seasons in the fall of 2017.
