ROXBURY CROSSING, Mass., January 27, 2018 – Down at the half, Monroe Express women's basketball outscored fourth-ranked Roxbury Community College by one in the third and by seven in the fourth, but the halftime deficit proved to be too much, as the Express fell by the final score of 54-34.

The Tigers raced out to a seven-point lead, outscoring the Express 14-7 in the first quarter, before taking a 35-16 lead into the halftime break, courtesy of a 21-9 second quarter.

But the Express began to find their groove in the third, and outscored Roxbury, 16-15, in the quarter, and 11-4 in the fourth. However, the halftime deficit proved to be too much to overcome and Monroe fell, 54-43, dropping to 6-10 on the season.
