Mykalee Chambers

Mykalee Chambers joined the Monroe Express women's volleyball program as an assistant coach in August of 2024.

In her first season with the program in 2024, the Express captured the North Atlantic B District Championship and earned a berth in both the Region 15 Championship match and the NJCAA Tournament.

No stranger to coaching volleyball, Chambers served as head coach of the Legacy Volleyball Club from 2021 until 2024. During that time, she also led the Preston High School girls' volleyball team as the head coach (2021-2023).

Chambers played collegiate volleyball at her alma mater Dominican University New York, an NCAA Division II school, from 2016 until 2019. She served as an opposite hitter and was also the team captain. She also played for the Chargers women's basketball team from 2018 until 2020. 

A native of the Bronx, Chambers earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics with a certification in childhood education in January of 2021. She is currently working on her graduate degree in the Elementary Mathematics Specialist Program at Hunter College.
