Tylaeya Campbell joined the Monroe University - Bronx women's basketball team as an intern in October of 2025. One year later, she earned the promotion to assistant coach for the program.Â
During her first season with the team, the Express went 26-8, captured the Region 15 and Northeast District Championships, qualified for the NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship Tournament, and earned a national ranking of No. 4.Â
In addition to interning for the Express, Campbell serves as a direct support professional for the Pride organization in New York, N.Y. At Pride, Campbell delivers personalized support to clients with disabilities and special needs. She assists with grooming, meal preparation, and household management. Campbell also provides companionship and encourages participation in recreational activities.
Campbell earned her bachelor's degree in sport management back in June of 2026.
