Monroe University Bronx

Fatima Thompson was hired as assistant coach of the Monroe University - Bronx women's basketball program in October of 2024.

In the 2024-25 season, Thompson helped lead the Express to their second consecutive appearance in the Region 15 Championship Game.

No stranger to the Express, Thompson played two years of collegiate basketball for the program from 2021 until 2023. She helped Monroe - Bronx capture two Region 15 and Northeast District Championships. 

A native of the Bronx, Thompson earned her associate degree in sports management from Monroe University in 2023.
