Who is Yashira? 
Reason for Choosing Monroe: I chose Monroe because when I left back in 2021, I went searching for the same home I had here at Monroe and decided nowhere would give me that same feeling. I am glad I came back. I also chose Monroe for the amazing coaching staff. Thank you Coach Lauren and Coach Ray for all that you do! 
Career Goals After Graduation: I want to work in the Sports Industry working behind the scenes. At Monroe, I have had an amazing opportunity to work directly with the Sports Information Director, A.J, and he has taught me a lot. If I can work in any area, it would definitely be as a Sports Information Director.  
Dream Job: My dream job is anywhere that I can share and teach the talent I have developed throughout the years. Whether it was an athletic talent or academic, I want to be somewhere I feel comfortable sharing my stories with either student athletes or students in general. 
High School Sports Played: Played two years of softball, some basketball and soccer.  
Previous Sports Accomplishments: Rudolf Steiner School Coach of the Year 2023-2024, Record for Most RBIs in one game (7): 04/06/2021 at Monroe – New Rochelle, PSAL Softball League Leader Triples 2017-2018, NYC RBI League 2017 15U Softball Champions
