Joshua Molina

    Assistant Coach - Men's Volleyball
Joshua Molina was named assistant coach of the Monroe University - Bronx men's volleyball program in February of 2025. He brings several years of coaching experience to the team. 

In 2025, Molina helped the Express reach new heights during his first year as assistant coach. Monroe won its first regional postseason match in program history against Kingsborough on March 25 to earn a berth in the Region 15 Semifinals. The Express also competed in the NJCAA Men's Volleyball National Invitational. 

In addition to his coaching duties with the Express, Molina also serves as head coach of the Scarsdale High School girls' varsity - B team, a position he has held since August of 2022. He led Scarsdale to its first winning season in several years, as well as concurrent winning seasons against Section 1 competition. He organized and developed training sessions. Molina also instructed individuals and groups in sports rules, game strategies, performance principles, and strategies to achieve desired results.

Prior to Scarsdale, Molina was the head coach of the Legacy Volleyball Club from 2021 until 2023. Among his duties were organizing and running practices, evaluated the athletes' skills and reviewed performance records to determine fitness and potential in particular areas of athletics, as well as scouting opposing teams. 

From 2007 until 2010, Molina was the head coach of the Warren County girls' volleyball team. 

Molina is certificates from USA Volleyball in IMPACT training, safe sport, and coaching professionalism. 

A resident of Mount Vernon, N.Y., Molina earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from Wester Kentucky University
