Giorgi Manzula enters his third season with the Monroe Express men's soccer program, having joined the Express’ coaching staff in 2017 to launch the program.

A native of the Republic of Georgia in Eastern Europe, Manzula was recruited to play soccer for Monroe College’s NJCAA Division I program, the Monroe Mustangs, in 2012. With the Mustangs, Manzula won a Region XV Championship, and was named a team captain in his second year.

Following his graduation from Monroe with an associate's degree in business administration, Manzula attended Central Connecticut State University, where he played in its NCAA Division I program and studied business management. 

Manzula began his coaching career while still in college, working with local club-level youths in the community. He also has extensive coaching experience, including at the U13-U18 level.
