John-Michael Guarino

John-Michael Guarino joined the Express for their inaugural season, competing at the NJCAA DIII level out of Monroe College's Bronx Campus.

Guarino joins Monroe after graduating from Oswego State College. In his senior season with the Lakers, Guarino helped Oswego State reach the 2017 Division III College World Series as the number one seed. The Lakers won the SUNYAC championship and the New York State Regional Tournament in 2017 and Guarino received Division III relief pitcher of the week honors in the third week of April 2017.
 
Guarino also worked at Frozen Ropes Training Center, a premiere private facility in the metro NY area. Over the past two summers, Guarino has been the Head Coach of the 16U and 17U Frozen Ropes National Travel baseball team. While working with Frozen Ropes Training Center Guarino assisted many of his former players’ in securing roster spots with the colleges of their choice.
 
A native of Orange County, NY. Guarino earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Athletic Coaching from SUNY Oswego.
