Hafel Payano enters his 2nd season with the Monroe Express baseball program as an assistant coach. Last year as a volunteer assistant, Payano assisted the Express in winning the NJCAA Region XV Championship. Hafel will assist with the Varsity pitchers and the JV program.

Payano is a former Monroe College ballplayer and graduate who moved on to John Jay College, where he pitched for the Bloodhounds.

Payano received his Bachelor’s degree from John Jay College and resides in the Bronx, NY.
