Delgado enters his first season with the Monroe Express as an Assistant Coach.
Coach Delgado joins Monroe after four years of experience as the Head Coach of Yeshiva University in the Skyline Conference.
A four-year varsity player for SUNY Purchase, from 2007-2019, Delgado stayed in the same conference he played in at Purchase, coaching Yeshiva University. During his junior and senior years at Purchase, Delgado led the Panthers in relief appearances, as the team's setup man in 2009, and the closer in 2010.
After graduating from SUNY Purchase, Delgado pitched professionally for the Roswell Invaders of the PECOS League in 2012.
Delgado hails the Bronx, where he attended Fordham Prep High School and became an Eagle Scout in 2004. His passion for the game, and experience working with student athletes makes him a strong addition to the Express Program.
