2025: First season playing collegiate volleyball for the Express... was named the Express Student-Athlete of the Week (3/10)… totaled 513 assists, 121 digs, 26 kills, and 10 total blocks across 28 matches... also recorded 13 service aces and 44.5 total points during the 2025 season... led the team with a season-high 37 assists against Atlantic Cape (2/2)... delivered a double-double with 10 digs and 29 assists in a five-set win over Passaic County (2/2)... added 33 assists and 11 digs in a victory against Roxbury (2/23)... tallied a season-high 12 digs and added 10 assists versus Bryant & Stratton College (2/1)... registered a career-best five kills and six points in a road win at Borough of Manhattan (3/8)... posted a .400 hitting percentage with two kills on five attempts in a three-set win over Middlesex (3/12)... finished the season with four matches of 30+ assists and reached double-digit digs in three contests.

Who is David? 
Reason for Choosing Monroe: I chose Monroe University because of its academic and athletic opportunities. It gave me an opening to explore a new experience in my life and ever since being part of the University, it has opened something in me to not only think bigger but to dream bigger.  
Career Goals After Graduation: To continue expanding my small photography business and to go into the human services field.   
Dream Job: To work in the social work field.  
High School Sports Played: Played volleyball during my senior year.  
Unique Story: I didn’t know what volleyball was until one day, two of my friends on the girls' team at my high school encouraged me to try out. Never in a million years did I think I was going to be one of the starting setters because I never played a day in my life. By the end of the season, I realized that this wasn’t just going be a “one time occasion”. The sport grew on me at a rate I didn’t think it could and as the years went by, I have become the player I know most to be. I’ve become a coach at the same high school I played at and I’ll forever be thankful for everyone who has guided and helped me become the person I am. If it wasn’t for the sport, I would honestly not know where I'd be, and I wouldn’t know most of the people that I call family.
