BRONX – The Monroe University – Bronx men's soccer team will face a huge Region 15 test on Saturday evening when they take on nationally ranked No. 6 Ulster County Community College, at Rondout Valley Field, in Accord, N.Y. The action begins at 6:00 p.m.
Monroe – Bronx is off to a strong start this season with a 2-0 record in the region after picking up home wins over Borough of Manhattan Community College and Orange County Community College. Freshman midfielder
Juan Ramirez has scored four goals for the Express this season, including a hat trick against the Colts. Classmate
Jonathan Lima also netted a trio of goals against Orange County.
Ulster County is currently 3-0 against Region 15 opponents so far in 2024, earning convincing victories against nationally ranked No. 6 (at the time) Suffolk County Community College, Dutchess Community College, and Orange County.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe University marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
