Raymond Romero has emerged as a key player for the Express, showcasing his exceptional skills as a goalkeeper with an impressive 12 saves for a 4-0-0 record this season. The Westchester Vikings men's soccer team currently holds an impressive record of 6-0-2 (overall and in Region 15). Their performance has been marked by notable victories, including a commanding 10-0 triumph over LaGuardia Community College and a recent win against Orange County Community College, 3-1. Freshman Demoni Gordon has been a standout player for the Westchester Community College men's soccer team, racking up an impressive 21 points over just seven games. Meanwhile, rookie Miguel Diaz has solidified his role as a reliable goalkeeper, amassing 14 saves with a save percentage of .824. Together, Gordon's offensive prowess and Diaz's defensive skills exemplify the team's overall strength and potential this season. As a result of their exceptional performance, the team is now nationally ranked No. 10 in the latest NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer National Poll.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE UNIVERSITY
The athletic program at Monroe University encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe University marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
