BRONX - The Monroe College - Bronx men's soccer team will continue its three-match NJCAA Region 15 road trip with a matchup against Orange County Community College, in Middletown, N.Y., on Tuesday, September 12. The action at Chris Chachis Soccer Field is set for 4:00 p.m.

There will be no live stats or live video for the match, but fans can check out MonroeExpress.com as well as the Express social media channels for updates and results of the contest.

Monroe - Bronx is off to an 0-2-0 start to the season with both matches marked as Region 15 duels. The Blue and Gold fell in the first contest of the year at home to Westchester Community College, 3-2, last Tuesday and then dropped the next battle to Borough of Manhattan Community College, on the road, two days later. 

Orange Country battled Queensborough to a 1-1 draw to start the season in Region 15 play, at Chris Chachis Soccer Field, this past Saturday.

For the Express this year, rookie goalkeeper Krit Raj Maharjan stopped 18 shots in two matches. Sophomore defender Lorenz Utz has tallied a goal and is having a strong season on the defensive side of the field. Second-year defender James Gallagher scored a goal and notched an assist in the season opener against Westchester, while freshman forward Marvyn Baltazar has added a helper of his own during the contest against the Vikings.

For the Colts, freshman midfielder Logan Fuller has scored their lone goal during their season-opening tie.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 31 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe College marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has seven teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
