NEW ROCHELLE, NY – Monroe Express JV women's basketball took to their home court for the first time in the new year against the Bryant & Stratton Syracuse Bobcats, resulting in a 73-37 loss for the home team. With the loss, the Express move to 6-5, and the Bobcats improve to 9-1.

Kuari Green led all Express scorers with 13 points, along with six rebounds. Doretha Brooks followed with nine points, a season-high 10 rebounds, two steals and one assist. Kassandra Marks added six points and two rebounds off the bench.

The Express hit the road Tuesday (Jan. 24) for a road battle against the Sussex County Community College Sylanders at 5 PM.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 35 teams competing across nine sports. There are 21 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, the Monroe College marching band, and the newly added esports and men's volleyball programs, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, has 14 teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
