Mamaroneck, N.Y., October 12, 2019 - The Monroe Express women's soccer team fell to the Fashion Institute of Technology, 11-0, at home on Saturday.
After Saturday's contest, the women's soccer program along the Monroe Express Athletic Department honored sophomores

Anita Mohammed,
Joanne Chavez,
Mayra Zurita, and
Genesis Estrada in their final home game.
FIT outscored the Express 6-0 in the first half and netted five goals in the second half to earn the victory.
Freshman
Myrna Gregorie picked 16 saves in goal for the Express.
The Express close out the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in a Region XV tilt against Nassau Community College.
ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 30 teams competing across nine sports. There are 19 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's and women's rugby, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus as of the fall of 2017, has 11 varsity and junior varsity teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level.
