MIDDLETOWN, N.Y., October 17, 2017 – The Monroe Express Women's Volleyball team fell to Orange County Community College, 3-0, Tuesday night, falling to 0-15 on the season.
 
The Colts took the match in straight-sets, winning the first set 25-10, the second 25-7, and the third set, 25-11. Dawn Franklin led the Express with two service aces, while Jessica Gonzalez and Kelsie Watkins each added three digs.
 
With just three games remaining on their schedule, the Express play their final home game of the season at Roberto Clemente State Park, taking on Dutchess Community College at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19.

ABOUT THE ATHLETIC PROGRAM AT MONROE COLLEGE
The athletic program at Monroe College encompasses a total of 26 teams competing across nine sports. There are 18 varsity and junior varsity programs, as well as club men's rugby, and the newly added club women's rugby team, competing on the New Rochelle campus as the Monroe Mustangs (NJCAA Division I). The Monroe Express, based out of the Bronx campus, will have six teams competing at the NJCAA Division III level beginning in the fall of 2017.
