Darren Lopez led the Monroe University - Bronx men's volleyball team to a 2-2 record in the season-opening Mustangs Invitational this past weekend. In the victory over nationally ranked No. 5 Union County College New Jersey on Friday, he slammed 15 kills and added three digs. Earlier in the day, he recorded nine kills and four digs against nationally ranked No. 1 College of DuPage. The next day against No. 2 Finger Lakes Community College, Lopez produced 13 putdowns and five defensive bumps. In the win over Roxbury Community College on Sunday, he  generated nine kills, eight digs, four assists, and two service aces
