David Garcia had a big week to lead the Express men's volleyball team to a 3-2 overall record and 2-1 in Region 15 play. He provided 12 assists to lead the Express to a regional road win over Kingsborough on March 3. In Monroe's thrilling five-set victory against host-BMCC in Region 15 play on March 8, he had a near double-double with 18 assists and nine digs. In Match 1 of Monroe's doubleheader against Roxbury on March 9, he provided 26 assists and three digs. In the second match against the Tigers later in the day, won by Monroe in five sets, he tallied a double-double with 33 assists and 11 digs.
