Jabnel Cordero (Vega Baja, Puerto Rico) contributed 15 points and knocked down a career-high five three-pointers on Sophomore Day against Dutchess C.C. in a 70-62 on February 12th. He also set a new single-season record for threes made in the contest with 57. He has seven straight double-figure performances, with three of them coming during a 2-1 week for the Express with 17 points on the road against Kingsborough Community College and 13 points against Suffolk C.C.
