Michael Cintron joined the Monroe Univerity - Bronx men's basketball program as an assistant coach in October of 2025.
In addition to his coaching duties with the Express, Cintron also coaches youth basketball for the Brooklyn Nets organization and has been doing so since July of 2022. He also serves as the SNL Supervisor and Activity Specialist for the Grand Street Settlement where he creates basketball tournaments at various middle schools and high schools. He schedules all the game sand supervises all the events.
From December of 2022 until October of 2025, Cintron was the associate head coach for the Lower East Side Prepatory High School boys basketball team. He led the program to the PSAL "MPL-B” City Championship in 2023 and 2024, and earned the PSAL "MPL-1A” City Championship in 2025.
Residing in New York City, Cintron also coached basketball, softball, and volleyball at Riverdale Country School (2020-2025).
From 2021 until 2023, Cintron served as head coach of the Manhattan Spartans boys varsity basketball team.
Cintron was the assistant coach for Transit Tech Career And Technical Education High School's boys junior varsity and varsity basketball teams and helped lead the programs to a variety of championships during his tenure from 2015 until 2022.
