Leidaly Garcia was announced as the athletics admissions advisor for the Express in October of 2024.
Garcia plays a key role in the department's long-term success by assisting in the admissions process with the school's student-athletes and recruits.
A former Monroe University Mustang, Garcia played an important role for the Mustangs' softball team in her two years with the program. Garcia hit .383 over two seasons with the Mustangs, totaling 59 hits, 48 runs scored, and 21 stolen bases.
Garcia served as an assistant coach for the Express softball team from 2019 until 2022. In her final year, she led the Express to the 2022 Region 15 and Northeast District Championships as well as a berth in the NJCAA Softball National Tournament.
A native of the Bronx, Garcia earned her associate degree in business management from Monroe University in 2016 and her bachelor's degree in sports management from the same institution in 2018.
