Isaid Bernal was hired as the athletic operations & equipment manager at Monroe University - Bronx in October of 2024. He is responsible for helping out with game-day operations, adjusting and fixing sports/athletic equipment, and the handling of clothing and laundry for the Express teams.
No stranger to Monroe University - Bronx, Bernal served as a graduate assistant during the 2023-24 season. He helped with setup and take down during game days and assisted in the remodeling of the Express weight room in Jerome Hall.
Bernal played two season of collegiate baseball for Monroe University - New Rochelle (2018 and 2019), serving as a catcher and first baseman. He helped the Mustangs capture back-to-back Region 15 and Eastern District Championships and participate in the JUCO World Series twice.
In the 2023 season, Bernal served as a team manager and catching instructor for the Mustangs.
A native of Panama City, Panama, Bernal earned his Master's of Business Administration (with concentrations in logistics, materials, and supply chain management) from Monroe University in August of 2024.
