Frank Ballar joined the Monroe University - Bronx baseball program as an assistant coach in January of 2025.
In his first year as a coach, the Express won 30 games and advanced to the Region 15 Championship Round.
No stranger to the Express baseball program, Ballar was a pitcher for Monroe - Bronx during the shortened-2020 season, as well as 2022 and 2023. He racked up 10 strikeouts during his collegiate career.
Ballar served as a sports facility assistant during his time as a student at Monroe University. The Bronx resident graduated from his alma mater with a degree in sports management and business administration in June of 2023.
