Alexis Cruz began her role as the Events and Facilities Manager for Monroe University - Bronx on March 31, 2025.
No stranger to the Monroe University family, Cruz spent the previous year as the Head Equipment Manager and Assistant Director of Events and Facilities at the New Rochelle campus. She served as the site manager for most of the Monroe – New Rochelle sporting events.Â
Cruz also played for the Monroe Mustangs softball team during the 2018 and 2019 seasons, occupying the third base position.Â
A native of Yonkers, N.Y., Cruz earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Monroe University in June of 2020.
