Connor Moriarty enters his third year at the helm of Monroe Express softball, after joining the Monroe College staff in June 2018 as the program's first-ever head coach.

In just his first season with the Express, Moriarty saw three of his athletes earn NJCAA Division III Softball All-Region XV Team recognition. During his first three years as head coach, Moriarty’s team has boasted an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.

Moriarty joins the Express from Pace University in Pleasantville, N.Y., where he served as the Assistant Softball Coach and the Manager of Equipment Operations from 2016-2018.

As assistant coach, Moriarty primarily coached hitting and defense, with his key roles being individual instruction and player development. During his tenure at Pace, Moriarty helped guide the Setters to the No. 2 seed in the 2017 NE10 Region Tournament. He also helped coach and develop the 2017-18 team that would later go on to qualify for the 2018 NCAA Division II Tournament.

Moriarty earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (’16) and his Masters in Public Administration from Pace University (’18). He is a native of Poughquag, N.Y. and currently resides in Port Chester, N.Y.
