Conrado Torres joined the Monre University - Bronx men's soccer program as an assistant coach in August of 2026. He has a wealth of experience in coaching soccer.
Torres is the founder and executive director of Flag Nation, an organization committed to empowering children and youth in social risk areas through sports programs such as soccer, flag football, baseball, karate, etc. Flag Nation was founded in 2017.
Prior to Monroe, Torres served as an assistant coach for the Hunter College men's soccer team from 2022 until 2024. While at Hunter, Torres assisted with training sessions, match preparation, and student-athlete development. He supported recruiting and player evaluation processes, while contributing to team culture, communication, and player mentorship. He assisted with scouting reports, tactical preparation, and game-day operations.
Torres helped Hunter capture the CUNY Athletic Championship in 2024 by leading the video analysis and the scouting of opponents during the title-winning season. He analyzed match footage to assist tactical preparation. Plus, he created performance clips and technical analysis for the coaching staff and players. He assisted with sessions featuring match reviews and performance evaluations.
In addition to his coaching role at Hunter, Torres was the regional manager for the New York Red Bulls youth programs. He built relationships with clubs, families, and local organizations throughout New York and New Jersey. Torres also led soccer development initiatives across multiple youth programs and club partnerships. He supervised the coaching staff, player development environments, and operational logistics. Torres also organized camps, clinics, tournaments, and community engagement events.
From 2008 until 2010, Torres was the assistant soccer coach for the Women's & Youth Programs in Mexico. He coached female and youth players in competitive 11 vs. 11 environments. Plus, he developed technical training sessions and match preparation plans. Torres contributed to multiple regional and state-level championship teams.
Torres earned his bachelor's degree in systems engineering from Nueva Esparta University, in Venezuela.
